We live in a cultural era that often elevates the quantity of our possessions, platforms, or post likes over the quality of our personal lives. One that hypes affluence over influence. Hurriedness over health. Doing over being.
As Jesus-followers, we hear the call of our King to walk in a different way. A way reflected in the words of the late Dallas Willard who said, “The most important thing in your life is not what you do; it’s who you become. That’s what you will take into eternity.” Not only will it take us into eternity; it will usher the realities of God’s eternal Kingdom into the places we call home.
Imagine a network of leaders in community, business, and the church who gladly choose to follow Jesus by living and leading from a place of non-hurriedness, humility, and honesty. A people who see that for change to happen on the streets, it must start in the soul.
Join us at the Citywide Summit on January 30, 2025, with special guests, Michael Frost and John Ortberg. Together, we’ll be inspired and equipped to embrace Jesus’ vision for our souls and our city’s streets as we pray, “May your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Cost is $44 per person, or $220 for a team of six.
One year ago we launched the State of the City project, including a ten-year vision that compels us, the Within Reach network, to work together for the good of our city.
Beginning this fall on October 31st, we will focus our citywide gatherings around this vision and the four strategic initiatives described in the State of the City. Each contributes to the framework we have developed by which to pursue city reaching and renewal.
We’re excited to welcome and learn from special guest and friend, Dave Runyon, author of The Art of Neighboring. Dave will help us consider how to activate the people of Jesus across the Metro to seek the well-being of our neighborhoods through the practices of presence, prayer, hospitality, and generosity.
Join us with your team for an afternoon of leadership encouragement and resourcing.
Registration costs $15/person and includes lunch. Register by clicking the button below.
On Sunday October 20th at Good News Church, youth are invited to a commissioning event from 3-4:30pm. The event will include worship, prayer, and equipping. Every human being wants to flourish (experience greater good) in our lives. It’s a desire woven deep inside of our being. It may be felt in a longing for life-giving community, a search for soul-filling meaning, a yearning for God’s presence, or a pursuit of lasting peace and joy.
As followers of Jesus, we recognize that this desire was given to us by our Heavenly Father who created all people to flourish. At the same time, we believe He calls us to work for the good of all in the places we call home.
Invite your team to join a network of leaders for a day of leadership inspiration and training. Together, let’s seek the flourishing of our city.

As our culture eagerly pursues soul-level answers to life’s great questions of identity, meaning, belonging, and purpose, Jesus invites us not to simply give answers, but to answer his call. A call to greater love, laying down our lives for our neighbors. Greater trust, believing that He still does the impossible. And greater unity, knowing that as we work together the world will see Jesus in us and place their hope in Him.
Cost is $39 per person, or $220 for a team of six.

We’ll explore what the Barna Group and Alpha USA recently discovered in a research project called Reviving Evangelism. The project reveals how Christians and our culture see evangelism, why evangelism needs to be rediscovered as a story of Good News, and how real data should inform and influence our commitment to reaching the Metro with the Good News.
We will also come together to celebrate all that God is currently doing in our city, including City Serve impact, State of the City progress, and upcoming tools to help you and your team grow in your evangelism efforts.
