Our Team
Jed Mullenix
President
Jed Mullenix serves as President of Within Reach. After 15 years leading local churches in New England and the Omaha Metro, he became convinced that the Church could work together in unity for the good of the city. Jed is passionate about elevating and accelerating leaders, teams, and organizations for mission. He and his wife Beth have five children and enjoy the outdoors, travel, and long evenings around the table with friends.

Taylor De Young
Director of Marketing & Communications
Taylor serves as Director of Marketing and Communications at Within Reach, leading digital communications, marketing, and event strategy since 2021. She also helps mobilize citywide compassion efforts through initiatives like Love Our Schools Day and Village School Partnerships. Taylor and her husband Nathan are passionate about following Jesus and helping others discover life and purpose in Him.

Ted Plugge
Director of Partnerships
Ted Plugge serves as Director of Partnerships for Within Reach. Since becoming a follower of Jesus in 1998, Ted has been passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Christ through connection, encouragement, and community. He and his wife Michelle have two children and two grandchildren. Ted enjoys golf, tennis, pickleball, and cooking, often using those interests to bring people together.

Samantha Johnson
Director of Village School Partnerships
Samantha Johnson serves as the Community Partner Champion for Within Reach, leading Village School Partnerships and helping cultivate relationships that strengthen churches, schools, and neighborhoods across the city. She is married to Rob, and together they lead Bridge Church in North Omaha. Samantha is passionate about seeing the Church live out the love of Jesus in visible, practical ways that bring hope to families and strengthen communities. She loves storytelling, photography, travel, and creating spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and connected.
